With extensive experience in aircraft finance gained principally from large law firm backgrounds, we provide a full range of services involving aircraft and aircraft-related equipment: purchases and sales (both with and without attendant leases), operating and finance leases, secured and unsecured financings, and asset (including beneficial interest) portfolio transfers. We have also represented creditors and airlines in bankruptcies and credit agencies in connection with export credit agency financings. Our clients include lessors, airlines, banks, private equity funds, and aviation asset trading companies.
While we provide the same level of experience and expertise expected from a large law firm, our cost model allows us to deliver our services in a more economical manner and to offer creative and flexible solutions for addressing the legal needs of an individual client. While we most often handle a transaction in its entirety through closing, we also supplement and provide support to clients’ existing legal resources by working with legal, technical and commercial teams to handle discrete aspects of a transaction, such as transferring assets and related leases into securitization vehicles. We have also provided secondment arrangements to clients to ease periods of high legal work flow.
